Khao Laem Dam [v1]

April 26, 2010

Khao Laem Dam is situated in the Noth-West  part of the Kanchanaburi province.
The building of a massive hydro-electric dam on the River Kwai Noi  resulted in a huge natural water reservoir. With a length of  sixty kilometres at its longest section and  twenty five kilometres at its widest,  Khao Laem Dam is a real  ‘inland sea’. Khao Laem Dam is a wonderful and idyllic location for fishing  and also  a truly magical destination to visit in Kanchanaburi.
